Research interests:

My research interests are in plant virus biodiversity and ecology. The distribution patterns of plant viruses and factors that determine the plant host range are my major areas of investigation.

My Profile:

My home country is Nepal. I did MSc in Botany from Tribhuvan University, Nepal and MS in Natural Resource Management from Norwegian University of Life Science, Norway. I have over ten years of working experience in the field of natural resource management in Nepal, mainly integrated conservation and development programs, sustainable forestry, buffer zone development and conservation of wildlife corridors. Before coming to USA for PhD program, I was associated with a national non-governmental organization, King Mahendra Trust for Nature Conservation (KMTNC).
